About WAGS

Wags was formed over ten years ago from the former Golf Only On Fridays Society (GOOFS) we still have most of the original members active within the society.

Traditionally we play four rounds of stapleford competition for our annual shield. These take place in spring and autumn to allow members to have summer holidays without impacting their chances in the competition.

We also run a knockout singles competition each year. This normally has four rounds culminating in the final which may be held on the last competition day.

We have a charter enforced by a formal committee which meets at least twice a year in addition to our Annual General Meeting. This uears committee members are:
